i love that it's a little snapshot of what you were doing every day at that exact moment, which leaves a lot of gaps for us to fill in. for example, when did you go to vienna? i mean when was the plane ride, when did you pack? not at 17:35 the days prior. Also, who are anna, ezra and elaine, or eva, tom and siobhan--your family and friends, i would presume, if i can speculate without breaching any of your privacy.

Found myself a little jealous of all those wonderful lectures you went to, and fascinated with that period of 3 days where you, almost as if continuously, sat on the line to and fro Tottenham Court Road...

i'm impressed you managed to keep up with it for so long; did it at any point turn into "muscle memory" where you knew the time was here, but still maybe a minute or two before the alarm--kind of like how your body will wake up by itself at 8am if you continually put your alarm then, even if that particular day your can sleep in?

So many interesting questions. Thank you. Probably the best thing I can do is leave under disclose the identities of those names, although obviously they are intensely familiar to me. For my part, it’s fascinating to see the cotillion bits of my life made strange through readers’ eyes.

Especially enjoyed reading it second time, eliding times and full stops to create continuous narrative

The daily 17:35—almost tangible—postcard, of "And I'm Still Alive" (On Kawara).
